MOVIE ACTION FIGURES

Movieaction figures are easier to find than any other types of adult toy that most people consider for their collection. Collecting these items is actually not just a kid thing anymore. In fact, most adults are into collecting characters from their favourite movies that have been made into small replicas. Movie character figurines are an extended marketing strategy of movie outfits and/or movie producers.

Some of the best-selling movie action figures these days are those from movies such as Avatars, Twilight, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the most commonly known collections, along with superheroes namely Superman, Batman and Robin, and Spiderman. Today, you can find an array of action figures replicating the characters from the latest adventure, action, sci-fi, and even thriller movies.

The popularity of the movie determines the price range of the items featuring its characters. For example, a 6-inch Star Wars figure may be bought for less than $10. You can get cheaper movie action figures though, but these are often made from cheaper materials and are not in close similarity to the original characters in terms of physical attributes.

Why do people collect movie character figures? Typically, a person collects something that they are keenly interested in. If you’re a die-hard fan of a specific movie or an ardent follower of a movie trilogy or saga, then you would most probably take time to notice and eventually collect its mini versions that may have been lately released. Those who cannot disassociate themselves from the fantasy world of the movie they love find that they are more likely inclined to collect just about anything that features their favourite movie character. Though it may be pretty expensive to collect such things, it is not considered unhealthy by most psychologists.

ACTION FIGURE COLLECTION

Other well-loved movie characters include zombies from horror movies, Incredible Hulk, Shrek, Toy Story character figures, character items from the movie Pirate of the Caribbean, and some Anime movies. These are only a few of thousand other characters from different movies that you can either collect for personal satisfaction, for trade, or for business.

There are some serious collectors that buy movie action figures at just the right time; particularly when a movie has been adapted from a book. This is simply because the characters are already known from the book, giving these collectors a profitable edge as they can foresee the movie’s popularity. These collectors buy the figures right after the movie has shown or just before the craze starts.

As a boy, collecting different toys especially action figures was my interest and I’m proud to say that even though I’ve grown up, I never stopped collecting them.
